How to order
When placing an order, you must follow the instructions listed on the website.
Once you select the product that you wish to order, you will be shown the charges you must pay, and any delivery costs if applicable.
All charges are in New Zealand currency.
We will receive your order via email and will respond to you via email to complete the next stage of your order.
Your order remains valid as an offer until we issue our confirmation of order or, if earlier, when we receive your notice cancelling your order.
For each project we collect a deposit - the amount differs depending on the product chosen.
We must receive the deposit to proceed with the product design. We provide a PDF proof via email before we send the product to print.
We will invoice you the total costs payable, outlining the deposit amount and also the total cost for the end of the project. We reserve the right to obtain proof of your payment details before providing you with the Product or Service
We undertake and warrant that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the Product from us will be correct.
When you submit an Order to the Site, you agree that you do so subject to these Terms and Conditions current at the date you submit your Order. Gorge has the discretion to update these terms and conditions at any time. When we do, we revise the updated date at the top of this page, we encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed.
Upon placing an order a contract shall be formed and we shall be legally bound to supply the product to you when we accept your order. Acceptance shall take place when we accept your order by email to you, called a "Thank you for your order - Confirmation" email, stating that we are accepting your order. Our confirmation of order shall be deemed to come into effect when it has been sent by us. We may send an invoice to you at any time after we have accepted your Order. Until the time when we accept your order, we reserve the right to refuse to process your order and you reserve the right to cancel your order.
We may in our discretion refuse to accept an order from you for any reason, including unavailability of supplies or we may offer you an alternative Product.

By placing your order through our site, you are confirming your status as the copyright owner. In New Zealand, the paying ‘client’ who has commissioned the wedding photography, owns the copyrights. Gorge does not own any copyright in your supplied photographs, so we are unable to edit any photographs, we can only design your magazine and use the photographs as they are. In the case where you have agreed in writing for the photographer to retain copyright, it is your duty to warrant to the photographer that the Product created by Gorge will be for private purposes only.
Privacy
We strongly respect our Gorge customers privacy rights, and we will seek your consent should we wish to use your product as a sample for Gorge marketing purposes. We will seek consent to be able to display your product at any location as mentioned here - online, at wedding fairs, to show prospective customers and general marketing purposes.
Payments & Deposits policy

We will invoice you the total costs payable, outlining the deposit amount and also the balance of costs for the end of the project. We reserve the right to obtain proof of your payment details before your magazine goes into design mode.
When your magazine has been completed and your happy to proceed to print, we will invoice you the balance remaining. Once we receive those funds, we will send your magazine to print.
We reserve the right to obtain proof of your payment details before providing you with the Product.
Price Validity Period
This price is valid for 3 months from the date your order is placed. Due to increasing business operating expenses, we wish to advise that final payment made outside the validity period may be subject to price increases.
Delivery policy
We aim to deliver your completed magazine in 4 – 8 weeks’ time from the start of the project. The maximum time for deliveries is 8 weeks. We will keep you fully informed with a timeline at the start of the project. We work hard to stick to the timeline. If we see your project taking longer than it should, we will let you know as soon as practical.
We will deliver your product to the delivery address you provide us. Your magazine will be packaged securely and couriered with tracking to ensure it arrives to your address. All customers will be asked to sign for their goods upon delivery. You must take special care when opening your product packaging, not to damage the product inside.
We try extremely hard to deliver our products in excellent condition. However, if you tell us that the product has been delivered damaged, we ask that you take photographs of it and email our customer support team so we can assist with a resolution hello@gorgemagazines.co.nz
Refunds & Returns policy
We do not offer refunds because we provide you with opportunities to revise your design until you 100% happy with it, we do not print your magazine unless your 100% happy with it. If you’re not happy with it at all, no further charges will be made, your deposit however is non-refundable.
Magazines are personalised so there is no resale value.
What paper we use
We print our magazines on paper which have Eco Credentials.
Product Quality
Quality and practicality are number one to Gorge, however we cannot guarantee the magazine will last if it is exposed to liquid, moister, chemicals or UV ray.
Designs and printing
All designs are owned by Gorge and only Gorge has the rights to printing. Design proofs will be watermarked to protect the rights of Gorge. Customers can purchase as many printed copies as they wish. We even store your design for up to 7 years in case you wish to print further copies.

Limitation of Liability
We do not warrant and we exclude all liability in respect of the accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose of legality of any information accessed using the site. You should not rely on any information accessed using the site to make a purchasing decision, you should make your own enquiries before forming your own opinion and taking any action based on any such information.
Force Majeure
Each party shall be excused from liability for the failure or delay in performance of any obligation under this Agreement by reason of any event beyond such party’s reasonable control, including but not limited to, Acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, earthquake, or other natural forces, war, civil unrest, any strike or labour disturbance. Such excuse from liability shall be effective only to the extent and duration of the event(s) causing the failure or delay in performance and provided that the party has not caused such event(s) to occur. Notice of a party’s failure or delay in performance due to force majeure must be given to the other party within five (2) calendar days after its occurrence. All delivery dates under this Agreement that have been affected by force majeure shall be tolled for the duration of such force majeure. In no event shall any party be required to prevent or settle any labour disturbance or dispute. In the event of a force majeure that persists for thirty (30) days or more, then either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other party.

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
